Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Özhaseki said that they will invest 2012 million liras as metropolitan and district municipalities in 500. Mehmet Özhaseki evaluated the year 2011 and the projects they plan to implement in 2012 at the press conference he held today.
Özhaseki started his speech by celebrating the journalists' January 10 Working Journalists Day.
Stating that 2011 year was full and fertile in the city, Özhaseki stated that 20 laid ground foundations and openings within the framework of Erciyes Master Plan Project last year.
Reminding that the foundation of the rail system second stage project was laid by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Özhaseki said that the rail system line between Sivas Avenue - Erciyes University will be operational this year.
Noting that the second stage will be completed in the future between Erciyes University and Talas, Özhaseki emphasized that they bought 16 new rail system vehicles and they care about the rail system for the transportation of the city.
