Thus, consumers can foresee how “green” the electricity suppliers they choose are and make their choices accordingly.
Detailed regulation should be made for the green tariff
According to the latest legislative changes, consumers will now be able to request that their electricity is only from renewable sources. According to the announced tariffs, the green tariff active energy unit price was determined as 0,70 TL. While non-green tariffs are 0,36 TL for homes, the consumer will pay 70 percent more in the total bottom bill. While the national tariff of the business house is 0,54 TL, the consumer bottom is 23 percent more and the free market is 0,45 TL, while the consumer will pay 43 percent more if he chooses a green tariff instead of changing suppliers.
