July 10, 1915 With the efforts of Captain of the Fourth Şümendifer Company in Izmir, Captain İskender (Sayıner) Bey, the School of Şümendifer Officers was opened in İzmir and Yeşilköy. In 4 years, about 2 railroads were trained.
10 July 1953 Bursa-Mudanya narrow line (42 km) was removed from operation and dismantled with the law number 6135. This line was put into operation on June 17, 1892 and purchased by the state on June 1, 1931. 1953 Domestic freight wagon manufacturing started at Sivas Railway Factory.
